I ran 3.2 miles all at once, ONE TIME. That was two years ago.
A runner. I want to be a runner. I can do this. I can be a runner.
There are a lot of things I want. Being a specific size isn’t as important to me as it used to be. Being healthy. That’s important. I want to plow headfirst into my fifties with my head down and my arms tucked in and kick some 5th decade aches and pains right in the ass. I want to climb monkeybars with my grandkids. Not that I can’t now. I can, but it sure as fuck isnt easy. I want walk into a job on a Monday morning and not hate it. I don’t even have to LOVE it, I just want to not hate it. I want to continue to expand my cooking horizons. I want to be a runner.
I like how I feel when I run. I like the way my legs feel kinda itchy when I’m done. I like the way I sweat when I run. I like the way I think when I run.
And now for the giveaway…
Check out Brad Gansberg’s site. He has offered to let me give away his Running 101 program to one of my readers. I’m excited to be able to offer this. Who out there wants to become a runner with me?
If you are interested in receiving Brad’s Running 101 program then leave me a comment. I’ll pick the winners as I have in the past…I let my son do it.
